The article discusses the development of the national identity among Rusyns of Bačka and Srem in the 1920’s and 1930’s. The aim of the paper is to determine which cultural trends formed in the said period, which factors influenced the formation and development of these trends, how relations between these trends were and what national and cultural heritage they left.

This article analyses the role of the press in the development of the identity of the Rusyns from Baþka and Sirmium in the interwar period. The main data on the history and studies carried out on the community in the examined period are presented. The main part analyses the editorial policies of the «Ruski novini» edition, published by the Greek-Catholic intelligentsia of Pro-Ukrainian orientation, and «Zarja», which had Panslavic, pro-Moscow and pro-Orthodox positions.

This paper explored how a small group of limb-disabled students enhanced their social inclusion through participation in the Art for the Disabled Scheme, a long-term project aiming to help disabled young people through the integration of extracurricular art instruction and philanthropy. This research was conducted using qualitative case study method. The findings revealed the multiple benefits the disabled students reaped regarding their social inclusion enhancement: financial and material supports; mental well-being improvement; promotion for personal development; positive self and group identity building; and social development. Actually one may define are two notions of well-behavedness and we will discuss the relation between them. These notions are introduced in order to avoid pathologies which may arise for general *-representations and to select “nice” representations, which may have a richer theory. Aim of the study The aim of the study was to examine the essential aspects of the process of shaping the identity of adopted persons. Subject or material and methods In the study a qualitative method of narrative interview was used. Results The results of the study were then analyzed in terms of self-awareness, family relations and wider social relations, which were described by other adoption researchers as the important factors in the shaping of the adoptive identity.
