An unusual association of left‐sided gastroschisis and persistent right umbilical vein

Key Clinical Message Gastroschisis is a full‐thickness congenital abdominal wall defect usually occurring to the right of the umbilicus. About twenty cases of left‐sided gastroschisis have been reported, without reference to the laterality of the umbilical vein. This first case highlights the importance of considering and reporting this association by the perinatal team.

It was also proven that, in terms of optical flow analysis from these images, we have difficulty distinguishing between some motion fields obtained with little camera motion. Attēla kvalitātes ietekme uz acs struktūru izvērtēšanu foto-diagnostikā

Darba mērķis bija izpētīt 18 samazinātas kvalitātes spraugas lampas attēlu, kuros attēloti acu priekšējo daļu struktūras, ietekmi uz 5 profesionāļu atzinumiem. Attēli, kas sadalīti 3 6 attēlu komplektos trim samazināšanas filtriem, izplūdums (1-6), troksnis (7-12) un kontrasts (13-18), tika parādīti datora ekrānā un salīdzināti ar oriģinālajiem attēliem. Rezultāti tika saskaņoti ar īsto attēla diagnozi un novērtēti 3 punktu sistēmā, pareizs atradums: 1 un 0,5 (daļēji) punkti, nepareizs vai nav atrasts: 0 punkti. In the analysis of journalistic representation of irregular migration to Europe, rather little attention is given to the variation of modes and genres of journalism. Most studies focus on text in ‘old media’ and the news genre. This article analyses affordances of different modalities and genres of online journalism in framing irregular migrants.
