New trends in teacher’s education. Educational placement of the adopted child
2014
In Italy, the number of adopted school-age children is increasing. According to Commission of Intercountry Adoption (2013), 3106 children were adopted , 47.5% of them are between 5 and 9 years old. The present action-research aims to explore the spread of good approaches in schools in terms of welcoming of adopted children. For this purpose 268 teachers of primary schools were involved to analyze the social representation about adopted children and their family. The results show a semplified vision of the adoptive family, which is described as heroic family or, on the contrary, as an a family with difficulty.
Relaxation result for differential inclusions with Stieltjes derivative
2023
The aim of this paper is to provide a Filippov-Wa\.{z}ewski Relaxation Theorem for the very general setting of Stieltjes differential inclusions. New relaxation results can be deduced for generalized differential problems, for impulsive differential inclusions with multivalued impulsive maps and possibly countable impulsive moments and also for dynamic inclusions on time scales.
Algebraic aspects and coherence conditions for conjunctions among conditional events
2018
We deepen the study of a notion of conjunction among conditional events, introduced in previous papers in theframework of coherence. This notion of conjunction, differently from other approaches, is given in the setting ofconditional random quantities. We show that some well known properties which are satisfied by conjunctionsof unconditional events are also satisfied by conjunctions of conditional events. In particular we examine anadditive property and a decomposition formula, by also obtaining a generalized inclusion-exclusion formula. Then,by exploiting the notion of conjunction, we introduce the set of constituents generated bynconditional events. Moreover, under logical independence, w…

Educational requirements and skills for social inclusion: the CPIA 189 resources for unaccompanied migrant minors
2021
The work hypothesis of the paper is a correlation between language proficiency and social inclusion. From the alphabetization to the Italian language and prospects of social inclusion, the survey conducted in Sicily in 2017, analyses educational needs by interviewing 503 unaccompanied migrant minors (UAM) attending the CPIA in the whole Sicily. By analysing linguistic skills, family, social conditions of departure and permanence in Italy, the research defines the main socio-linguistic profiles and possible paths for training offer and services addressed to UAMs, as key points to start a process of inclusion that transforms in resource what is instead is seen as a problem.

2014
Urban space and public space are far beyond to be just spatial categories. They are the expression of societies where their sets of values are displayed. Urban design participatory processes shouldn’t be taken as the expression of a professional abdication, but in the perspective where citizens are owners and users of public areas. Beside, administrators represent groups of citizens but hardly can convey the detailed level of knowledge about history, dynamics and issues of a place. Hence citizens are the embedded intelligence of an urban realm. This paper outlines the experience of a research group at Politecnico di Torino engaged on participatory urban design and planning processes in the …
