The research presented in this chapter intended illustrating the practices im-plemented to foster inclusion of and support to migrants above all, female refugees/asylum seekers hosted by reception centres in Sicily . At the same time, it sought to outline some of the limits the reception system presents when it comes to supporting victims of proximity vio-lence. This article focuses on skilled migration flows from Southern Europe into Mexico. From semi-structured interviews with Spanish and Italian immigrants living in four Mexican cities of Mexico, it addresses both reasons for immigration and labour incorporation in Mexican labour markets. Specifically, it explores: i) the role of the economic crisis and the lack of good employment in the countries of origin as a key factor when deciding an international migration; ii) the employment opportunities offered in Mexican labour markets for the highly-skilled immigrants, and iii) the role played by the Mexican state and its current immigration law when channelling this group into the labour market

AbstractSelf-reflection has been shown to enhance professional development in clinical, counselling and educational settings. Recent research found that self-reflection can enhance performance in elite sports. The purpose of this intervention study was two-fold: Firstly, to examine whether a guided reflective diary was effective in enhancing accuracy in elite archery, and secondly, to identify factors facilitating and hindering the usage of the guided reflective diary. The author examines the commemoration of D-Day (June 6, 1944), exploring why war commemoration rituals still captivate thousands of people and illustrating attempts that have been made to shape a peaceful future in postwar Europe. How guilt or innocence is constructed in Finnish suspects written police records
 The present study focuses on written police records in Finland. The aim is to investigate how guilt or innocence is constructed in written police records. The research data contains 168 copy of suspects police records from Helsinki, Tampere and Turku police departments. Police records are being analyzed by using the discursive and linguistic approach. The results show that there are nine discursive categories in which guilt is constructed. Background and Aim Using song and music in a systematic way in residential dementia care may have several positive impacts on the patients, as well as the care providers. The aim of this study was to explore how health care providers experienced taking responsibility for conducting a song and music program in dementia care in nursing homes.
