Un adeguato trattamento dell’ipertensione arteriosa include sia la terapia farmacologica sia quella non farmacologica, mirando ad ottenere un effetto additivo e complementare. Le modificazioni dello stile di vita costituiscono il trattamento non farmacologico di prima scelta della malattia ipertensiva, come indicato da tutte le Linee guida internazionali. Uno stile di vita sano può prevenire o ritardare l’insorgenza dello stato ipertensivo e può ridurre il rischio cardiovascolare del paziente iperteso, oltre ad offrire la possibilità di aumentare l’efficacia antipertensiva della terapia farmacologica.

3GPP has specified that terminals can be configured to use either 2 or 10 ms transmission time interval in high speed uplink packet access systems. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the benefit of exploiting a mixture of both of the transmissions time intervals within a cell instead of only one. The study is quantified by means of studying the achievable coverage of voice over IP and possible battery saving benefits. The analysis is conducted with a system level simulator modeling network and terminal behavior in detail. The paper indicates that utilizing a mixture of both transmission time intervals can extend coverage whilst providing enhanced battery saving opportunities.
Cogging torque comparison of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators with different stator windings

This paper presents the comparison between the cogging torques produced by four IPMSGs (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators) with different stator winding configurations. More in detail, an IPMSG model, which is derived from a commercial geometry, is analyzed through means of a FEM (Finite Element Method) approach. Then, three more structures are determined and analyzed by adequately changing the number of stator slots of the basic IPMSG stator structure and by maintaining the same rotor configuration. Finite-element performance comparison of IPMSMs with unsymmetrical double-layer windings

This paper presents a comparison of the performances between IPMSMs (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine) with a symmetrical and with two different types of unsymmetrical windings. The aim is to demonstrate that the adoption of slightly unsymmetrical windings does not significantly affect the performances of the machines, both in terms of cogging torque and torque/load angle characteristics, providing also the advantage of a higher possibility of choice in terms of slot number/poles ratio.
