On December 24 1922, in the midst of the tensions of the post- war crisis and the reactionary offensive, and just two months after the “March on Rome”, the left-wing of the Italian Popular Party published in Milan the weekly «Il Domani d’Italia» (December 1922-July 1924) taking the title of the Chris- tian Democrat weekly (1901-1903) edited by Romolo Murri. La presente ricerca si è svolta in tre fasi distinte. Un primo biennio tra Milano, l’Università degli Studi di Palermo e sopralluoghi presso l’ex campo di concentramento di Auschwitz, centrando le attenzioni sul tema del Memoriale italiano. A questa prima fase è seguito un semestre di ricerche presso l’Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in cui sono state svolte le prime ricerche sull’IAUs (Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies, 1968-1985) e «Oppositions» (1973-1985), sopratutto per quanto concerne le relazioni fra Spagna, Tendenza italiana e Stati Uniti.
