In linguistic landscape (LL) studies, various projects have demonstrated how language learners benefit from tasks that involve the documentation and interpretation of the LL. Tämän liikuntakasvatuksen kenttään sijoittuvan laadullisen, etnografisen toiminnallisen tapaustutkimukseni tarkoituksena on lisätä ymmärrystä 1990-luvulla Suomeen levinneestä elämys- ja seikkailupedagogiikasta ja tutkia sen sovellusmahdollisuuksia opetuksessa opetussuunnitelmaa toteuttaen. Korona-ajan opetus on vaatinut kouluilta, oppilailta ja vanhemmilta monenlaista sopeutumista. Rehtorit ja opettajat tekivät ympäripyöreää päivää huolehtiakseen oppilaista. Oppilaat kaipasivat kouluyhteisöään ja vanhemmat ohjausta lasten koulunkäynnin tukemisessa. Korona-ajasta jäi kuitenkin käteen monia hyviä käytänteitä, joita kannattaa hyödyntää jatkossa, kirjoittaa kasvatustieteen professori Marja-Kristiina Lerkkanen. nonPeerReviewed

This paper reports on a study of the attitudes to the formation and roles of formalised active boards in Australian small to medium sized (SME) family businesses. While the literature on governance includes guidelines for effective boards, many family owned businesses perceive they are functioning adequately without formalising a board structure. This study employed a qualitative approach and explored the board functions of nine family business cases drawing on the Hilmer and Tricker (1994) framework. The reactions of phenylaminobis(phosphonite), PhN{P(OC6H4OMe-o)2}2 (1) (PNP), with [AuCl(SMe2)] in appropriate ratios, afford the bi- and mononuclear complexes, [(AuCl)2(µ-PNP)] (2) and [(AuCl)(PNP)]2 (3) in good yield. Treatment of 2 with 2 equiv of AgX (X = OTf or ClO4) followed by the addition of 1 or 2,2′-bipyridine affords [Au2(µ-PNP)2](OTf)2 (4) and [Au2(C10H8N2)2(µ-PNP)](ClO4)2 (5), respectively. Similarly, the macrocycles [Au4(C4H4N2)2(µ-PNP)2](ClO4)4 (6), [Au4(C10H8N2)2(µ-PNP)2](ClO4)4 (7), and [Au6(C3H3N3)2(µ-PNP)3](ClO4)6 (8) are obtained by treating 2 with pyrazine, 4,4′-bipyridine, or 1,3,5-triazine in the presence of AgClO4. Non-standard work schedules (NSWS) have become typical, but their associations with childcare arrangements and children's well-being are unknown. This study explores how risk factors are associated with the social–emotional well-being of girls and boys using flexibly scheduled early childhood education and care. Furthermore, the study investigates whether well-functioning cooperation between parents and educators buffers the negative effects of the risk factors.
