Bladder endometriosis: laparoscopic treatment and follow-up

Objectives: This study aims to show the treatment outcome in women affected by isolated bladder endometriosis who underwent laparoscopic surgery in our units. Only women with deep nodules located in the bladder were selected, thus excluding women with deep lesions located in other sites. Study design: Between March 2005 and 2007, women with deep vesical endometriosis, referring to the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of University Hospitals "G. Nelle prassi successorie non è infrequente il ricorso alla frode per via testamentaria, rivolta a colpire i creditori personali del legittimario leso o pretermesso, i quali non godono nel nostro codice civile di un’apposita tutela ad essi esplicitamente rivolta. L'Autore si interroga sulla possibilità di reperire comunque nelle pieghe dell’ordinamento rimedi a tal fine utilizzabili, giungendo infine ad una proposta di riformulazione dell'art. 524 c.c. Abstract: The aim of the study was to assess the involvement of apoptotic factors, cytokeratins and metalloproteinase- 9 in the histogenesis of both Epithelialized Gingival Lesions (EGL) and Periapical Lesions (PAL). 55 consecutive patients, 30 with PAL and 25 with EGL, were selected for the study after clinical and radiological examinations. The PAL patients had severe periapical lesions and tooth decay with exposure of the pulp chamber. All PAL and EGL biopsies were surgically extracted, fixed in 10% buffered formalin, and processed for routine light microscopy. The role of informal learning in adults' literacy proficiency

This study used the Programme for International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) dataset to examine informal literacy learning’s effects on adults’ literacy proficiency. Also, the factors associated with informal literacy learning at and outside of work were studied. The study participants were Nordic adults aged 35–65 years. The statistical method was regression analysis, and the results indicate that informal literacy activities at work are associated primarily with occupation, and informal literacy activities outside of work with education, parents’ education and gender.
