The goal of this study is to analyze and compare aspects of language learning games in the context of Finnish and Hungarian high-school teaching of German as a foreign language (GFL). First, the practices of using games in GFL are investigated. Secondly, the subjective theories of teachers on language learning games are analyzed. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos 2-os klasės mokinių ir jų tėvų įsitikinimų apie lietuvių kalbos mokymąsi sąsajos su mokinių pasiekimais. Nustatyta, kad mokinių įsitikinimai apie savo gebėjimus, susidomėjimas lietuvių kalba, tėvų lūkesčiai bei 2-os klasės pasiekimai tarpusavyje siejasi teigiamais ryšiais. Motywacje do nauki języka ukraińskiego wśród studentów filologii rosyjskiej Uniwersytetu Opolskiego zostały zbadane na podstawie przeprowadzonej ankiety. Zadaniem ankietera było określenie, jakie funkcjonuje nastawienie wśród studentów i czy istnieje chęć do nauki języka ukraińskiego. Następnie określono motywacje do nauki tego języka.
