Our concern in this work is the problem of acoustic propagation in guides lined with locally or non locally reacting materials with the presence of mean fluid flow. In several industrial systems such as aircraft jet engines, mufflers exhaust and ventilation systems, noise is mostly channeled outside by guides of more or less complex geometries. A study of waveguides makes it possible to predict and understand the physical phenomena such as refraction, convection, absorption and wave attenuation. International audience; We give a polynomial-time construction of the set of sequences that satisfy a finite-memory constraint defined by a finite list of forbidden blocks, with a specified set of bit positions unconstrained. Such a construction can be used to build modulation/error-correction codes (ECC codes) like the ones defined by the Immink-Wijngaarden scheme in which certain bit positions are reserved for ECC parity. We present a novel edge preserved interpolation scheme for fast upsampling of natural images. The proposed piecewise hyperbolic operator uses a slope-limiter function that conveniently lends itself to higher-order approximations and is responsible for restricting spatial oscillations arising due to the edges and sharp details in the image. As a consequence the upsampled image not only exhibits enhanced edges, and discontinuities across boundaries, but also preserves smoothly varying features in images. Experimental results show an improvement in the PSNR compared to typical cubic, and spline-based interpolation approaches.

Si riportano i risultati della verifica sperimentale, condotta in centrifuga geotecnica, sul carico limite, qlim, di fondazioni superficiali poggianti su terreni contenenti un sottile strato orizzontale di bassa resistenza a taglio. La presenza dello straterello influisce fortemente sul meccanismo di rottura del complesso fondazione-terreno e sul valore di qlim. Il qlim si riduce significativamente rispetto al caso di terreno omogeneo in funzione della posizione e della resistenza dello strato e la curva che descrive la variazione di qlim con la profondità dello strato presenta un minimo a tutte le accelerazioni esplorate. Ce cours a pour principal sujet la discrétisation de certaines conditions limites sur le bord d'un domaine à l'aide de la méthode des éléments finis. Nous étudions en particulier des problèmes elliptiques avec conditions de Dirichlet non-homogènes, puis avec conditions de Signorini. Les conditions de Signorini sont des conditions de contact unilatéral entre un solide et un support rigide. Différentes méthodes sont passées en revue, et nous détaillons l'analyse pour les méthodes classiques et celle de Nitsche.
