The need for fast product delivery causes the attention of supply chain is addressed to strategies able to optimize the distribution process. In this field the crossdocking seems to be an efficient strategy which makes possible to reduce or eliminate the storage phase by meeting customer demand. In this paper a transshipment problem for cross-docking strategy is considered by means of a deterministic model studied through the non linear programming technique. Involving fuzzy orders for multi-objective linear programming

This paper presents a solution approach for multi-objective linear programming problem. We propose to involve fuzzy order relations to describe the objective functions where in ”classical” fuzzy approach the membership functions which illustrate how far the concrete point is from the solution of individual problem are studied. Further the global fuzzy order relation is constructed by aggregating the individual fuzzy order relations. Thus the global fuzzy relation contains the information about all objective functions and in the last step we find a maximum in the set of constrains with respect to the global fuzzy order relation. We illustrate this approach by an example.

Abstract The Container Drayage Problem (CDP) aims at routing a fleet of trucks, based at a common terminal, to serve customers while minimizing the total travel distance. Each trip starts from and ends at the terminal, and handles a subset of customers. Each customer requires either that a container is picked up or delivered. In last years, the energy efficiency in non-interconnected islands became an important topic, since the electricity production is often based on diesel generators, thus contributing to the global warming. Italian government recently emitted two decrees to promote the introduction of renewable energy technologies in 21 non-interconnected islands, both for electrical and thermal uses. Our paper deals with the problem of choosing correct parameters for the bilevel linear program- ming solving algorithm proposed by M. Sakawa and I. Nishizaki. We suggest an approach based on fac- toraggregation, which is a specially designed general aggregation operator. The idea of factoraggregation arises from factorization by the equivalence relation generated by the upper level objective function. AbstractThe Green Vehicle Routing Problem with Capacitated Alternative Fuel Stations assumes that, at each station, the number of vehicles simultaneously refueling cannot exceed the number of available pumps. The state-of-the-art solution method, based on the generation of all feasible non-dominated paths, performs well only with up to 2 pumps. In fact, it needs cloning the paths between every pair of pumps.
