La escritura medieval y la preservación de la memoria y el saber en el Libro de Apolonio

La escritura se tematiza en el Libro de Apolonio, un poema castellano de mediados del siglo XIII, a través de numerosos episodios que permiten resolver las situaciones difíciles que el héroe debe enfrentar para que así la acción narrativa avance. Además de definir a Apolonio como un héroe letrado, lo escrito busca preservar la memoria de los hechos notables del pasado, resaltando tanto la condición heroica del protagonista del poema como la función social de la escritura en el contexto del siglo XIII castellano.

The article analyses letters exchanged in the years 1930 to 1949 between two outstanding Czech poets - Jan Zahradníček and František Halas. Despite their contrary views (Zahradníček was perceived as an ardent Catholic, while Hałas – as holding rather left-wing worldviews), their written communication is a testimony of their friendship which lasted for two decades. However, in the letters there are also expressed, especially in the final stage of their correspondence, numerous radical judgments of the thickening atmosphere (years of the war and Soviet domination) surrounding both artists as well as mutual assessments of their social and ethical attitudes. This paper analyses the vocabulary of body parts in Cha’palaachi, an Amerindian language of the Republic of Ecuador. A number of basic roots refers to (a) forms or (b) parts of the body, although in some cases reference is made to general areas more than to specific parts. These areas, as well as the general vocabulary of forms, points to the importance of spatial elements in Cha’palaachi, which is also identifiable in other parts of the vocabulary and grammar. This paper aims to examine the use of the circle metaphor within the functionalist perspective by Jakob von Uexküll and the morphological perspective by Viktor von Weizsäcker. Whereas the functionalist theory dissolves the unity of the organism in the multiplicity of functional relationships, Weizsäcker’s morphology recognizes the fundamental unity of the biological act, leading to a new concept of the living organism.

Bakalaura darba „Latvijā izdotā literatūra un dokumentārās liecības par bruņojumu (1918-1940)” pētījuma problēma ir nepietiekama un neapkopota informācija par pirmās neatkarīgās Latvijas laikā publicēto literatūru un izdotajiem dokumentiem par Latvijas armijā bijušo bruņojumu. Nav apkopota arī informācija par Latvijas teritorijā ražoto bruņojumu. Pētījuma mērķis ir apzināt neatkarīgās Latvijas laikā starpkaru periodā izdoto literatūru un dokumentārās liecības par bruņojumu.
