The memory of the experience of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–1995) is a phenomenon strongly present in contemporary literature. The subject of my interest is the specificity of women’s memory, which is characterized primarily by anti‑war and anti‑military discourse, which is a fundamental feature of women’s writing about the war, breaking the patriarchal code (statement by Swietlana Aleksijewicz). This paper analyses the relations between thematization of the territory and symbolic elaboration of identity in Carme Riera’s narrative: in two inicial short story collections, Te deix, amor, la mar com a penyora and Jo pos per testimoni les gavines,and in two novels: Dins el darrer blau and La meitat de l’ànima. The aim of the research is to show that, according to the works, the identity value of Mallorca arises either from a sentimental perspective, or in terms of moral or in terms of culturaltransmission, in literary key.

The paper examines aspectual and selectional properties of Old Catalan prefixed verbs in comparison with their non prefixed counterparts. We ground our analysis on Talmy’s (1985, 2000) notion of verb framed and satellite framed languages and on Mateu (2002, 2003) and Mateu & Rigau (2002) theory of lexical structure, and we argue that telicity and other aspectual properties associated with prefixed verbs are by effects derived from the semantic value of the prefix together with the lexical structure they give rise to. Oznacza to, że podejmuje ono polemikę z wzorcem naukowości, który wyraża się w formalnych regułach, stanowiących aktualne kryterium naukowości. From conceptualization to constructions in Finnish as an L2 : a case study

AbstractThis study traces the individual learning trajectories of an adult beginner L2 Finnish learner in expressing the extralinguistic concept of evaluation from a dynamic usage-based perspective. Our results provide support for the view of learner language as a dynamic system in which patterns wax and wane and in which a change in one component has the potential to affect the whole system. In the early stages of learning there was a strong preference to use lexical verbs first, and then adjectives. The study also shows that variability plays a role. Therefore, the role of multicultural children's literature plays an essential role in order to reflect this intercultural diversity in Spanish classrooms. In this regard, The Other Side (2001) portrays an African American experience where interaction, communication and negotiation become crucial aspects for their protagonists. In this way, this picture book can be used not only to teach English as a foreign language in primary school, but also to show values like respect, tolerance and partnership.

According to scientific literature, there is a gap in the statistical analysis of tourism due to missing data or poorly structured statistical information production services. This information, which can be classified as public goods, is currently managed by the public sector and national statistical systems. This article aims to deepen, in the literature, the main dimensions for the analysis of tourism divided into themes and subcategories. Dans ce travail, on étudie une des œuvres pionnières de référence en toxicologie du XIXe siècle : Traité des poisons, publiée par Mathieu Orfila entre 1814 et1815 à Paris, traduite en espagnol par le Dr. Mariano de Larra y Langelot en 1819, et éditée à Madrid. Larra se vante, dans l'introduction, que sa traduction a été révisée par Orfila lui-même, détail qui n’apparaît pas dans les traductions en allemand, anglais ou italien. Nous présenterons les événements historiques qui ont accompagné cette première traduction, ainsi que les raisons qui ont conduit Mariano de Larra, père du célèbre écrivain romantique Mariano José de Larra, à traduire ce travail après avoir été exilé en France pendant …
