In the southern and eastern area of the Côte d’Île-de-France, north of the marshes of Saint-Gond (Marne, France), research incorporating a great deal of unpublished documentation, and the results of pedestrian and aerial surveys, has highlighted five flint mines. Las vidrieras del siglo XIX son un fiel reflejo de la mentalidad y los gustos de un momento de profundos cambios en Europa que propició la recuperación de un arte casi olvidado. España tardó en sumarse a esta dinámica y los inicios de la restauración de la catedral de León constituyen un elocuente testimonio de las limitaciones que había a este respecto. Las propuestas de su restaurador, Matías Laviña, denotan su interés hacia este arte y su preferencia por una vidriera de carácter pictórico cuya perfección pensaba lograr interviniendo, a modo de banco de pruebas, en las obras conservadas.
Investigation of yeast community of “Grillo” grapes and musts from Marsala wine production area.

The oenological interest in the autochthonous yeast applications has increased since they represents an important supplement to wine quality (Martinez et al. 1989; Moreno et al. 1991). Yeast populations harboured onto the surface of berries and in musts of “Grillo” grape variety were isolated and analyzed. Trace element accumulation is particularly important in coastal and transitional environments, which act as contaminant buffers between the continental and marine systems. We compared trace element transfer to the biota in two locations with different open-sea exposures in a semi-enclosed marine coastal area (Stagnone di Marsala, Sicily, Italy) using isotopically reconstructed food chains. Samples of sediment, macroalgae, seagrasses, invertebrates, fish, and bird feathers were sampled in July 2006 and analysed for stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes (δ(13)C, δ(15)N) and trace elements (arsenic [As], cadmium [Cd], total mercury [THg], and lead [Pb]).
