Fausto Maria Martini nació el 14 de abril de 1886 en Roma, ciudad en la que falleció en 1930. Su obra como poeta, crítico y dramaturgo se inició con la publibación de la colección poética Le piccole morte (1903), libro que supuso su incorporación a la nómina de la entonces naciente escuela de los crepusculares. Dentro de los parámetros del movimiento publicó otros dos conjuntos de poemas Panem nostrum (1907) y Poesie pro­vinciali (1910). Martin Heidegger’s ”Building Dwelling Thinking” argues that socially engaged architecture fails to understand that the crisis of housing is related to more profound crisis of being. To fully grasp this, architecture needs to be detached from direct social and political questions. Instead architecture needs to examine and elaborate, how dwelling and being are related. Recursion at the crossroads of sequence modeling, random trees, stochastic algorithms and martingales

This monograph synthesizes several studies spanning from dynamical systems in the statistical analysis of sequences, to analysis of algorithms in random trees and discrete stochastic processes. These works find applications in various fields ranging from biological sequences to linear regression models, branching processes, through functional statistics and estimates of risk indicators for insurances. All the established results use, in one way or another, the recursive property of the structure under study, by highlighting invariants such as martingales, which are at the heart of this monograph, as tools as well as objects of study.

Il progetto di ampliamento del cimitero di Grisì, nel Comune di Monreale, oltre a soddisfare le richieste funzionali implicite nel tema progettuale, ha il fine di riproporre quel rapporto solidale che si riscontra tra i manufatti storici, presenti in questo territorio, e il paesaggio agricolo. Nel nuovo cimitero trovano posto un campo d’inumazione e diversi colombari per la tumulazione che assumono diverse configurazioni architettoniche. Lungo il recinto murario, si interseca il volume cubico dell’ossario e si dispone una lunga fascia di servizi.
