PurposeThis paper discusses the challenges that two doctoral researchers faced while researching religious minorities and women in a culturally sensitive society such as Pakistan. Their shared interest in sensitive topics related to gender and minorities in Pakistan led both researchers to collaborate in this study to provide a better understanding of issues in qualitative research in the same research context. They discuss the challenges of interviewing participants within the educational context. Abstract Background In Europe, increases in HCV infection have been observed over the last two decades in MSM, making them a key population for recently acquired HCV. Alternative combinations of direct-acting antiviral agents against early HCV infection need to be assessed. Patients and methods In this pilot trial, MSM with recently acquired genotype 1 or 4 HCV infection were prospectively included and received 8 weeks of oral grazoprevir 100 mg and elbasvir 50 mg in a fixed-dose combination administered once daily. Pētījumā tika prognozēts, ka informācija par pāreju no heteronormatīvām uz iekļaujošām sociālā dzimuma normām radīs apdraudējumu tikai vīriešiem ar izteiktām heteronormatīvām pārliecībām un augstu identificēšanās pakāpi ar dzimuma grupu, kas rezultēsies paaugstinātā dzimuma esencializēšanā (1. hipotēze) un negatīvākā attieksmē pret dzimuma un seksuālajām minoritātēm (2. hipotēze). Lai pārbaudītu izvirzītās hipotēzes, tika veiktas divas faktoriālās dispersiju analīzes (2x2x2x2 ANOVA). Nel 2012 è stato pubblicato il frammento epigrafico di una lettera dell'imperatore Adriano alla città di Alicarnasso in Caria (AE 2012, 1550). Gli autori presentano alcune riflessioni sulla cronologia, sui contenuti superstiti e sulla cornice culturale di questo interessante, seppur lacunoso, documento. L'analisi della titolatura imperiale adrianea permette di affermare che la lettera è stata scritta tra il 128 e il 135, come risposta a una petizione di Alicarnasso. Si ipotizza che la città fosse stata danneggiata nel 128 da un terremoto, che avrebbe colpito anche Rodi, Astypalaia e altre località costiere della provincia Asia.
