“Smart migration”: risorse e rischi digitali per i MSNA
2019
RIABITARE IL PATRIMONIO URBANO ED EDILIZIO DEI TERRITORI INTERNI: SPAZIO DIGITALE PER SERVIZI SANITARI EFFICIENTI
2020
2018
Unaccompanied foreign minors (or UAM) constitute a specific subgroup, in terms of characteristics and legal conditions, of users of social services. The increase of their presence, beyond representing the obvious sign of a transformation of Italy into a country of immigration (at least from a "numerical" point of view), demands a global reflection and reorganization of the Welfare Systems. In response, in recent years Italy has implemented a reception system, developing at the same time a specific regulation on the protection of unaccompanied minors, which resembles its situation to that of other protected minors in the national territory. In past years, the services present in the territor…

Riuso e rigenerazione del patrimonio edilizio e dello spazio pubblico delle aree interne nell’era post Covid-19
2020
The contraction of relational public space in favor of private one was one of the consequences due to the Covid-19 containment, which generated deep changes on lifestyles. This situation leads not only to reformulate public policies on housing and services provision, but also to reconsider the territorial rebalancing between urban systems densely inhabited and internal areas of the country in demographic decline as a precondition of prevention contagion. Particularly, attention will be paid to a southern internal area where population density is low, high-unused housing stock is available and environmental standards are higher. The objective is to build a methodological proposal for support…

Bezpieczeństwo państwa a mniejszości narodowe

National minorities, either today and in the past, certainly can be considered as a potential source of various types of threats to the security of State. States as the organizational form of different nations, not always peacefully co-exist, therefore a situation in which people of different nationalities residing in the territory of one country is inevitably more complex and raises many problems. Needs of State in terms of security, differ from those of groups and individual members of society. Threats may vary in nature and intensity and come from different directions, which depends on a wide variety of factors. This relation is not so simple because the State (and the members of the maj…
Indexing the Local, State and Global in the Contemporary Linguistic Landscape of a Hungarian town in Slovakia
2015
On the basis of photography and fieldwork, the linguistic landscape (LL) of the central square of Dunajská Streda/ Dunaszerdahely is analyzed. I focus on commercial names, which dominate the LL of the main square. The research site, a town in Slovakia of which population 80 % is Hungarian speaking, is significant, since historical minorities form the majority in very few European towns. The characteristics, functions and meanings of a linguistic landscape are best charted through a combination of methods. A distributional account provides us a basic account of what languages there are in the investigated scene. We may compare this with surveys, censuses and other similar cities, as in our c…
