Työ on reflektoiva tutkimus kirjojen kirjoittamisesta, kirjoittamisen oppimisesta ja ohjaamisesta. Työn tavoitteena on kuvata ja ymmärtää kehityskaartani kirjailijana. Tutkin yksin ja yhdessä tekemieni kirjojen tekoprosessien ja vastaanoton kautta oppimaani ja opitun siirtymistä luovan kirjoittamisen ohjaamiseen. Olen työskennellyt kirjailijana ja ohjannut kirjoittamista erilaisissa positioissa, joiden pohjalta tämä tutkielma jäsentyy seuraaviin aihepiireihin: kirjailijaksi tuleminen, läheltä itseä kirjoittaminen, terapiakirjoittaminen, yhteistyössä kirjoittaminen, kirjoittamisen ohjaaminen ja oman työn tutkiminen. Leisure trip through Upper Silesia is the text of a German author anonymously published in the „Schlesische Provinzial-Blätter” in 1805 (No. 41; German title – Lustreise durch Oberschlesien). Until now, it was perceived in the political dimension. It was believed that the text was to present glorious development of the region under Prussian rule and, therefore, it was interpreted as a justification for the benefits born out of conquest. The reaction product of nitric oxide and superoxide, peroxynitrite, is a potent biological oxidant. The most important oxidative protein modifications described for peroxynitrite are cysteine-thiol oxidation and tyrosine nitration. We have previously demonstrated that intrinsic heme-thiolate (P450)-dependent enzymatic catalysis increases the nitration of tyrosine 430 in prostacyclin synthase and results in loss of activity which contributes to endothelial dysfunction. We here report the sensitive peroxynitrite-dependent nitration of an over-expressed and partially purified human prostacyclin synthase (3.3 μM) with an EC50 value of 5 μM. Med anledning av Budkavlens 100-årsjubileum fick jag i uppdrag att intervjua två av tidskriftens tidigare medarbetare – professor emeritus Nils Storå och intendent John Hackman – om deras erfarenheter av utgivningen av tidskriften under 1970–1990-talen. Nils Storå (f. 1933) var professor i nordisk etnologi under åren 1972–1997 och John Hackman (f. 1942) var amanuens vid Sjöhistoriska museet 1972–1975 och därefter intendent vid Etnologiska institutionen fram till sin pensionering 2005. Electrochemical performance of cathode active materials (CAMs) is dependent on the properties of coprecipitated precursors (pCAMs). This is a sensitive process affected by several reaction parameters such as temperature, pH, concentration of reactants, agitation rate, and residence time. In this paper, the effect of parameters influencing the particle size growth and the physical properties, such as particle morphology and tapped density, was studied in the coprecipitation of Ni(OH)2. High-quality superconducting titanium nitride thin film growth using infra-red pulsed laser deposition

Superconducting titanium nitride (TiN) thin films were deposited on magnesium oxide, sapphire and silicon nitride substrates at 700 °C, using a pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique, where infrared (1064 nm) pulses from a solid-state laser were used for the ablation from a titanium target in a nitrogen atmosphere. Structural studies performed with x-ray diffraction showed the best epitaxial crystallinity for films deposited on MgO. In the best films, superconducting transition temperatures, T C, as high as 4.8 K were observed, higher than in most previous superconducting TiN thin films deposited with reactive sputtering.
