Yhteiskunnan monimuotoistuminen heijastuu koulumaailmaan monella tavoin. Se näkyy erityisesti oppilaiden erilaisina kulttuureina ja uskontoina ja on luonut tarpeen kehittää liikunnanopettajien kulttuurienvälistä osaamista. Kulttuurienvälisellä osaamisella tarkoitamme muun muassa omien, kulttuurisidonnaisten ajatusmallien tiedostamista, vuorovaikutustaitoja sekä kykyä toimia eri kulttuureista tulevien ihmisten kanssa tilannekohtaisesti. Suomesta puuttuu lähes kokonaan tutkimus, jossa tarkastellaan kulttuurienvälistä osaamista liikuntakasvatuksen kontekstissa. Seasonal Modulation of the $^7$Be Solar Neutrino Rate in Borexino

We detected the seasonal modulation of the $^7$Be neutrino interaction rate with the Borexino detector at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso in Italy. The period, amplitude, and phase of the observed time evolution of the signal are consistent with its solar origin, and the absence of an annual modulation is rejected at 99.99\% C.L. The data are analyzed using three methods: the sinusoidal fit, the Lomb-Scargle and the Empirical Mode Decomposition techniques, which all yield results in excellent agreement.

Novel metaphors in literary texts (hereinafter referred to as literary metaphors) seem to be more creative and open-ended in meaning than metaphors in non-literary texts (non-literary metaphors). However, some disagreement still exists on how literary metaphors differ from non-literary metaphors. People change their preferences when exposed to others’ opinions. We examine the neural basis of how peer feedback influences an individual’s recommendation behavior. In addition, we investigate if the personality trait of ‘agreeableness’ modulates behavioral change and neural responses. In our experiment, participants with low and high agreeableness indicated their degree of recommendation of commercial brands, while subjected to peer group feedback.
