Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin tukea tarvitsevien lasten vanhempien osallisuutta. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kuvata, miten vanhempien osallisuus ilmenee tehostettua ja erityistä tukea tarvitsevien lasten varhaiskasvatuksen ja esiopetuksen pedagogisissa asiakirjoissa. Pohdinnassa tuotiin esille myös asiakirjatyyppien välisiä yhtäläisyyksiä ja eroja vanhempien osallisuudessa. Tutkimuksessa käytettiin Noora Heiskasen väitöskirjatutkimustaan varten keräämää aineistoa, josta tämän tutkimuksen aineistoksi valikoitui varhaiskasvatussuunnitelmat, oppimissuunnitelmat ja HOJKSit. Digital Activism in Russia: The Evolution and Forms of Online Participation in an Authoritarian State

AbstractThis chapter describes how digitalization has affected activism in Russia by tracing the evolution, particularity, and the most visible forms of online activism in the context of the increasingly authoritarian Russian state. It discusses online activism in relation to “connective action” and illustrates it with two examples of contentious political activism: the anti-corruption campaign led by Alexei Navalny and the struggle to protect online communication from state surveillance by the Telegram messenger service. In addition, the chapter presents examples of Russian activism, which do not directly challenge the Kremlin.

The importance of STEM education is widely recognized. Despite the value of the sector and good associated employment prospects, young students generally lack interest in science and engineering. This is reflected in the difficulty universities experience in recruiting qualified students for STEM subjects, which in turn is reflected in business life and is a factor slowing down countries’ economic development. In Finland, efforts have been made to solve this challenge by launching the LUMA Centre Finland network, which consists of 13 university-related centres promoting STEM issues throughout Finland.
