As lymphatic microsurgery has become more common, vascularized lymph node transfer ascended to the forefront in many centers for the surgical management of advanced stages of lymphedema showing substantial clinical improvement. However, no consensus has been reached among experts regarding many details of the procedures, including patient selection criteria, type of treatment, donor, and recipient sites and postoperative evaluation of the outcome. Here, we will review these issues and provide the current results of this procedure.

Objectives: The study examined whether clients who continued longer in brief therapy reported stronger associations of real relationship and working alliance with therapy outcome than clients who received very brief treatment. It also examined whether real relationship and working alliance assessed early in treatment predicted outcome differently from that assessed later in therapy. Method: Fifty clients (32 women; Mage = 22.3 years) were recruited from a university counseling center. Tässä väitöskirjassa tarkastellaan korkeakoulutettujen tutkinnollaan saavuttamien työelämätulosten eriytymistä ja eriytymisen yhteyttä koulutusalaan sekä muihin tutkinnon suorittaneiden taustaan liittyviin tekijöihin. Näitä tekijöitä ovat sukupuoli, pohjakoulutus ja ikä. Lisäksi eriytymistä tarkastellaan työantajasektorin (julkinen/yksityinen) mukaan, joka on olennaisesti yhteydessä sekä koulutusalaan että sukupuoleen. Obesity is an unfavorable prognostic factor in breast cancer (BC) patients regardless of menopausal status and treatment received. However, the association between obesity and survival outcome by pathological subtype requires further clarification.
