BACKGROUND: Symptomatic severe osteoarthritis and hip osteoporotic fractures are the main conditions requiring total hip arthroplasty (THA), whereas total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is mainly performed for pain, disability or deformity due to osteoarthritis. After surgery, some patients suffer from "painful prosthesis", which currently represents a clinical problem. METHODS: A systematic review of scientific literature has been performed. Volatiles and contact pheromones involved in the mating behaviour of the Painted bug, Bagrada hilaris Burmeister (Het- eroptera: Pentatomidae), were investigated in behavioural and chemical experiments. Vertical open Y-shaped olfactometer bioassays showed that odour from males attract females but not males, while that from females did not attract either gender. Adult females were also attracted by hexane extracts of volatile compounds collected from males. In open arena bioassays, males displayed the characteristic steps of courtship behaviour in the presence of virgin females. Este trabajo tiene como principal objetivo conocer el grado de presencia de las lenguas de inmigración en el paisaje lingüístico (PL) de Ruzafa en los años 2008 y 2018 desde un planteamiento diacrónico y contrastivo, así como explorar las consecuencias que ha tenido el proceso de gentrificación sobre el paisaje lingüístico de la migración en el barrio. Para ello se ha elaborado un corpus de un total de 212 signos del PL a partir de capturas de pantalla de las imágenes de Google Street View, las cuales pertenecen los años 2008 y 2018 y muestran los rótulos y signos de algunos comercios privados del barrio. Historia jego życia rozpoczęła się w 1899 r. we Lwowie, gdzie przyszedł na świat w rodzinie Joachima Bartoszewicza i Marii z Jełowickich. Był jedynakiem, którego rodzice wiele uwagi poświęcili kwestii jego edukacji. Na poziomie szkolnym była ona realizowana w Kijowie, gdzie od 1906 r. Cancer patients experience pain not only in its physical dimension, but also in a broader context that includes psychological, social, and spiritual aspects due to a higher level of anxiety and stress. The present prospective, longitudinal study examined the relationship between total pain and illness acceptance among pelvic cancer patients, taking into consideration the moderated mediation effects of self-efficacy and stress. The study involved a sample of pelvic cancer patients receiving radiotherapy treatment. In the frame of the restoration intervention on a 16th century wooden altar performed by the experts of the Gallery of Art for the Sicilian Region ‘Palazzo Abatellis’, a deep scientific investigation of the artwork has been made by a scientific team in order to individuate the constitutive materials and techniques. The outcomes from the multi-analytical analyses supported the scheduling and monitoring of the conservation treatments and revealed the pictorial materials and underdrawing techniques typical of the artistic production for this typology of work of art widespread between the 15th and 16th centuries in central and northern Europe.

El presente trabajo se apoya en tres pilares fundamentales que son el paisaje, la Institución Libre de Enseñanza y la pintura valenciana de paisaje. Con éste lo que pretendemos es por un lado, demostrar que a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, en la zona valenciana se produce un desarrollo de la pintura de paisaje debido, en parte, a la llegada de influencias de la ILE, y por otro, mostrar como estas obras reflejan el entendimiento institucionista de la naturaleza. Las nuevas ideas sobre la naturaleza del Romanticismo alemán, llegaron a España y fueron absorbidas por la ILE.
