Influence of sexual sensation seeking, sexual compulsivity and sexual pleasure in condom use among Spanish youth: implications for HIV interventions

Spain is one of the countries with the highest incidence of HIV within the European Union. Multiple and complex factors influence HIV infection in young people. This study aims to determine the influence of sexual sensation seeking, sexual compulsivity and perceived sexual pleasure variables in condom use. A total of 424 heterosexual youth were evaluated (M age = 20.62; SD = 2.62) distributed into a risk group (60.7%) and a no-risk group (39.3%). Sexual Sensation Seeking Scale, AIDS Prevention Questionnaire, Sexual Compulsivity Scale, and Sexual Pleasure Perceived Scale were administered. II Polski Synod Plenarny został uroczyście zainaugurowany przez papieża Jana Pawła II w czasie jego wizyty w Polsce w czerwcu 1991 r. Również Jan Paweł II dokonał jego zamknięcia 11 czerwca 1999 r. Prace przygotowawcze do synodu trwały prawie trzy lata. W tym czasie sformułowano istotne problemy, które miały zostać przedyskutowane i przepracowane przez grupy synodalne. Nous nous sommes interrogés sur le nombre de séance de formation sur simulateur pleine échelle nécessaire à la mesure d’un transfert d’apprentissage ainsi que l’impact du niveau de complexité des cas vus en formation sur ce transfert d’apprentissage. Nous montrons qu’il est nécessaire de s’entraîner au minimum trois fois sur le simulateur pour permettre un apprentissage objectivement mesurable. L'utili-sation de points massiques permet de modéliser des demi-coniques dans le plan affine euclidien ou des surfaces canal dans l'espace de Minkowski-Lorentz. Neurofibroma plexiforme en mucosa yugal: presentación de un caso clínico

Presentamos un caso clínico de neurofibroma plexiforme localizado en región geniana, a nivel submucoso. Su interés radica en que, a pesar de ser el tumor de origen neurógeno más frecuente, es una entidad poco habitual y que rara vez se localiza a nivel intraoral. Por otra parte, la variedad plexiforme es todavía menos frecuente. Desde el punto de vista clínico, se manifiestan como lesiones anodinas, con escasa sintomatología, que cuando aparece es derivada de la compresión nerviosa. Differential Effects of Mindfulness-Based Intervention Programs at Work on Psychological Wellbeing and Work Engagement.

Two different mindfulness-based interventions were deployed in a sample of white-collar workers to explore the differential effects on different facets of mindfulness, dimensions of psychological wellbeing, work engagement, performance, and stress of a participant. A total of 28 participants completed one of the different programs, and their results were compared between groups and against 27 participants randomly allocated to a waiting list control group. Results suggest both mindfulness intervention programs were successful at increasing the levels of psychological wellbeing, work engagement, and performance of the participants, as well as decreasing their levels of stress. Zastosowanie badań biomonitoringowych do oceny zanieczyszczenia metalami ciężkimi wybranych ekosystemów

Celem przeprowadzonych badań był biomonitoring zanieczyszczenia wybranymi metalami ciężkimi: Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Cd, Ni i Pb terenu w pobliżu zbiornika Janów (woj. świętokrzyskie) oraz wody w niecce zbiornika. Metale ciężkie w matrycach środowiskowych, takich jak glony Palmaria palmata, mchy Pleurozium schreberi i gleba, oznaczano metodą absorpcyjnej spektrometrii atomowej. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań i wyznaczonych współczynników akumulacji względnej (RAF) dla eksponowanych próbek glonów wykazano niejednorodne zanieczyszczenie wód zbiornika, szczególnie miedzią i kadmem. Wartości RAF dla tych metali wynosiły odpowiednio od 0,08 do 0,51 i od 0,17 do 0,91. W nielicznych miejscach pomiaro…
