This research focuses on the EU regional policy and presents a critical analysis of its influence on the urban regeneration process in the Portuguese city of Porto. A particular attention was drawn to the city’s historic centre has been facing a diverse range of challenges and been the stage of different urban policies. Tras la proclamación de la II República Española, en la ciudad de Valencia, gobernarán los seguidores del escritor Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, conocidos como “blasquistas”, entre ellos, Vicente Alfaro Moreno, que pasó a ser el alcalde en enero de 1932. Las inquietudes de Alfaro por las artes, le condujo a iniciar la reforma urbana así como la iniciativa de decorar el Salón de Sesiones del Ayuntamiento, con alegorías republicanas alusivas a España y a Valencia, realizadas por el escultor Vicente Beltrán Grimal y el pintor Luis Dubón Portolés. L'argomento di questa monografia è un confronto tra i costrutti predicativi di tipo frasale nelle diverse varietà romanze. Mentre le pseudorelative sono diffuse pressoché in tutta la Romània, con qualche variazione parametrica minore, i gerundi predicativi e gli infiniti preposizionali sono usati solo in alcune varietà. Negli studi linguistici sull'argomento è mancata finora l'ottica comparativa, sia tra varietà diverse, sia tra costrutti predicativi diversi.
