In the Ouled Abdoun sedimentary basin (Morocco), the phosphatic series is composed of regular interbedded phosphatic and marly limestone layers. Exploitation of the phosphate in some deposits in this basin collides frequently with problems bound to the existence, in the phosphatic series, of disturbed areas (sterile bodies) qualified as derangements by the mining engineers of the Office Cherifian Phosphate Group (OCP). L'articolo propone uno studio sul termine φώς, spesso interpretato dagli studiosi genericamente come "uomo", o come designazione dell'uomo come eroe o guerriero. Sulla base dell'analisi delle attestazioni omeriche, il termine dovrebbe essere inteso nel senso di "persona umana", considerata fisicamente, plasticamente caratterizzata dai suoi tratti identitari. Questi ultimi lo rendono riconoscibile e lo fanno “brillare”, secondo l'etimologia più diffusa di φώς, che viene qui confermata. Pertanto, possiamo fare risalire a Omero una categoria antropologica, correlata all'idea del corpo umano nella sua interezza, che di solito è considerata molto più recente e connessa al termine πρόσωπον e all'…
