Nowe stanowiska interesujących halofitów wzdłuż autostrady A-4 na Śląsku Opolskim

The paper presents new sites of interesting synanthropic plants in the Opole Silesia. Three halophilous species,Plantago coronopus L. Spergularia marina (L.) Besser and Cochlearia officinalis L. were found on road verges of motorway A4 within the section Brzeg – Prądy. All species were observed with very large population sizes. They can thrive because of de-icing of the motorway surface with the application of sodium chloride spray.

Electronic monitoring is a new solution in Polish penal law. It should be noted that the electronic monitoring was initiated in the United States of America by psychologist Ralph Schwitzgebel in 1964. In Poland the system of electronic monitoring appeared in a later period of time. One of the basic legislator’s purposes was to reduce overcrowding in prisons. This institution was used from the date of the entry into force of the Act of 7 September 2007 about serving a sentenceof imprisonment outside prison in the system of electronic monitoring (Dz. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba ukazania rzeczywistego poziomu emisji CO2 na terenie Polski, jak również wpływ jej wymiany handlowej na emisję CO2 w pozostałych państwach świata i UE w 2015 roku. Abstract Results of phytosociological studies conducted in the southern part of Opole Silesia within the Sudetes mountain range in 2014-2015 are presented. The main aim of our research was to confirm the occurrence of Viscario vulgaris-Quercetum petraeae Stöcker 1965, which had previously been noted in Poland only within the Central Sudetes Foothills in Lower Silesia province. Two additional sites of this extremely rare in Poland plant association were confirmed, located within the Opawskie Mts in Opole province. Background: Our research aimed to assess the experiences of ethnic discrimination among students in Poland (Polish and international) during the COVID-19 pandemic. We also tested the prevalence of anxiety symptoms and their relationship with perceived COVID-19 risk, the severity of discrimination, and social support. Methods: The data from Polish (n = 481) and international university students (n = 105) were collected online (November–January 2020). Participants completed measures of ethnic discrimination (GEDS), anxiety scale (GAD-7), COVID-19 risk perception index, and perceived social support scale (MSPSS) questionnaires. The authorities of the Republic of Poland in exile tried to follow and analyse the situation in Poland after World War 2. The developments in the years 1947–1949 which aroused particular interest among emigrants were the elections to the Legislative Sejm, the issue of the Oder-Neisse borderline and the sovietisation of Poland. These topics were raised by the president in his speeches, by the government during its meetings and by the National Council of Poland during its sessions. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie pojęcia granicy jako użytecznego odniesienia myślowego do zaprezentowania specyfiki myślenia o polskiej historii.
