L’insegnamento della progettazione architettonica: Una comparazione tra Italia e Spagna

L’organizzazione temporale dei corsi di progettazione architettonica ha un ruolo cardine nell’intero percorso formativo. Il saggio propone una comparazione tra gli strumenti, le metodologie e le modalità di insegnamento del progetto di architettura in Italia e Spagna, più specificatamente tra l’Università di Palermo e la Universitat Politècnica de València, riportando alcuni esiti dei corsi nelle due Università, con particolare riferimento alle forme dell’abitare domestico, e alla poetica dello spazio interno.
Hölder regularity for stochastic processes with bounded and measurable increments

We obtain an asymptotic Hölder estimate for expectations of a quite general class of discrete stochastic processes. Such expectations can also be described as solutions to a dynamic programming principle or as solutions to discretized PDEs. The result, which is also generalized to functions satisfying Pucci-type inequalities for discrete extremal operators, is a counterpart to the Krylov-Safonov regularity result in PDEs. However, the discrete step size $\varepsilon$ has some crucial effects compared to the PDE setting. The proof combines analytic and probabilistic arguments.
Flipping and Blending : An Action Research Project on Improving a Functional Programming Course

This article reports on an action research project on improving a functional programming course by moving towards a practical and flexible study environment—flipped and blended classroom. Teaching the topic of functional programming was found to be troublesome using a traditional lectured course format. The need to increase students’ amount of practice emerged, while subsequently challenges relating to students’ independent practical coursework were observed. The estimation of RxC ecological inference contingency tables from aggregate data is one of the most salient and challenging problems in the field of quantitative social sciences, with major solutions proposed from both the ecological regression and the mathematical programming frameworks. Abstract This paper focuses on a fleet management problem that arises in container trucking industry. From the container transportation company perspective, the present and future operating costs to minimize can be divided in three components: the routing costs, the resource (i.e., driver and truck) assignment costs and the container repositioning costs (i.e., the costs of restoring a given container fleet distribution over the serviced territory, as requested by the shippers that own the containers). Differences Between Coronavirus-Related Anxiety and Stress Management Strategies in Different Study Programs for Students

Šī bakalaura darba pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt atšķirības koronovīrusa izraisītās trauksmes rādītājos un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģijas, psiholoģijas, audiovizuālās mākslas un “deju kolektīva vadītājs” specialitāšu studentiem COVID-19 pandēmijas laikā. Pētījumā piedalījās 89 respondenti no tiem 58 sieviete un 31 vīrieši (65% sievietes, 35% vīrieši), vecumā no 19 līdz 41 gadiem. Izlases visbiežāk sastopamais vecums ir 23 gadi (26%). Pētījumā piedalījās psiholoģijas (23 studenti jeb 26%), audiovizuālās mākslas (28 studenti jeb 31%) un “deju kolektīva vadītājs” (38 studenti jeb 43%) specialitāšu studenti.
