Adolfo Rossi (1857-1921) was a figure of relevance in the Italy of the XIX century. Native of the province of Rovigo, in the region of Veneto, aself-taught person, he was first a poor emigrant to the USA who became a journalist and combatant at the end of the century, hired by the most important newspapers; then, he was an itinerant inspector at the Commissariato Generale dell'Emigrazione (1902) and, finally, he was a diplomat in the Americas (from 1908) charged with duties in the Ministero italiano degli Esteri. The study of the syntactic variation of the dialects of a language is a good instrument to understand the general properties of language and the syntactic principles that govern the limits of variation in sentence structure. This paper deals with two topics of Catalan sintax, which are given different solutions by the speakers depending on the dialects. One of them is at the interface between syntax and morphology; the other, at the interface between syntax and semantics. The both are related to agreement: morphological features agreement and lexical features agreement. Lo scopo del presente studio è stato quello di valutare l’influenza della macerazione post-fermentativa, estesa a 90 giorni, sulla composizione microbica e chimica del vino rosso “Aglianico di Taurasi”. Le analisi microbiologiche hanno messo in evidenza la presenza di popolazioni di lieviti e batteri lattici, vitali e metabolicamente attivi, durante l’intero periodo di macerazione post-fermentativa. Dispersal can be divided into three stages: departure, transience and settlement. Despite the fact that theoretical studies have emphasized the importance of heterozygosity on dispersal strategies, empirical evidence of its effect on different stages of dispersal is lacking. Here, using multi-event capture-mark-recapture models, we show a negative association between microsatellite multilocus heterozygosity (MLH; 10 loci; n = 1023) and post-fledging dispersal propensity for greater flamingos, Phoenicopterus roseus, born in southern France. Body condition is an important determinant of fitness in many natural populations. However, as for many fitness traits, the underlying genes that regulate body condition remain elusive. The dopamine receptor D4 gene (DRD4) is a promising candidate as dopamine is known to play an important role in the regulation of food intake and the metabolism of both glucose and lipids in vertebrates.
