This thesis is devoted to the treatment of rovibronic couplings of octahedral species for which the Born-Oppenheimer approximation is broken down. By using the octahedral formalism, a full effective rovibronic model is extended from works about molecules in a non-degenerate electronic state. This effective model is dedicated to molecules with an odd or an even number of electrons and it has been successfully applied to V(CO)6 and ReF6. For both of them we have four interacting vibronic sublevels attributed to a dynamical Jahn-Teller effect and giving rise to very complicated spectra. Femtosecond Raman time-resolved molecular spectroscopy

International audience; The applicability of several femtosecond time resolved non-linear coherent techniques such as Raman induced polarization spectroscopy (RIPS), degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) and coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS) for molecular spectroscopy is presented. All methods rely on the initial coherent excitation of molecular states producing wavepackets, whose time evolution is then measured. In the case of RIPS and DFWM only pure rotational transitions are involved, whereas in CARS vibrational states can be excited. Da questa ricerca emergono per la prima volta le figure di Vincenzo Pantano e Filippo Rovigo. L’articolo rappresenta un ulteriore contributo alla sistematizzazione dei materiali, raccolti negli anni e custoditi dall’autore, che si offrono come un importante e originale contributo all’attività di ricerca rispetto all’esperienza dell’architettura moderna in Sicilia.
