The study explored the total, direct and indirect effects of emotion knowledge on adjustment in preschoolers ans examined whether emotion regulation mediated the relationships between emotion knowledge and adjustment (social competence, and behavioral difficulties, such as anxiety–withdrawal and anger–aggression). Contemporary adolescents increasingly engage with social media via their smartphones, and problematic smartphone use has been identified as a growing concern. The aim of the current study was to examine the association between problematic smartphone use and body esteem among adolescent boys and girls. A sample of 647 adolescents (mean age: 14.15 years; 56.7% females) completed measures of problematic smartphone use, emotional regulation, and body esteem. The aim of this chapter is to investigate market risk disclosure in banking. The author employs content analysis to conduct an empirical study on a sample of the ten largest Italian banks. The study provides evidence that banks differ in their market risk reporting, even though they are subject to similar regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
