Sport commitment and adherence: A social-cognitive analysis. (Compromiso deportivo y adherencia: Un análisis cognitivo social).

2011

Abstract Statement of problem: This study aimed to analyse the ability of a model based on achievement motivation and self-determination theories to predict adherence to competitive sport. This model incorporated commitment as predictor of adherence. A prospective study was performed with a sample of 302 handball players aged between 14 and 18 years. Structural equation modelling gave support to the model proposed. It was verified the sequence of relationships between perceptions of coach-created mastery climate, psychological needs, self-determined motivation, commitment, and adherence. The major contribution of the study was to confirm a motivational model of adherence based on social-cog…

Starppaaudžu attiecību ētiskie aspekti A. Smitas romānos "Rudens" un "Ziema"

2021

Ali Smitas romānu “Rudens” un “Ziema” uzmanīga lasīšana atklāj, ka Smita patiesu not…

Arrendaments i parceries.

2002

In this article, it is studied the market of land lease in the Valentian rural society in the end of the Middle Age. Using notarial sources and court rolls, it is possible to know the economic function that exercised this forms of land management in the agrarian system. The penetration of urban capital through this kind of contracts was always limited. Far from eroding the hegemony of the small peasant farming, leases consolidated this pattern as productive basis of the feudal system.<br><br>En aquest article s'estudia el mercat de cessió de la terra a curt termini en la societat rural valenciana a les darreries de l’Edat Mitjana.

2002

Twenty-six species of ants associated with aphids, belonging to twelve genera, are collected. Three subfamilies are identified, being the Formicinae the more represented about number of samples, genera and species. On the other hand, <i>Lasius niger</i> has been the species that is found with a more number of aphids (fifty eight species), and it seems to be the ant with a more capacity to establish associations with the different species of aphids. 224 different associations between the ants and the aphids are established and 164 of them are not recorded in the bibliography consulted for Spain.<br><br>Se han recogido veintiséis especies de hormigas asociadas a pulgon…

The complex nature of brand relationships : interpersonal or parasocial love?

2016

Relationships between metabolic fluxes and enzyme amino acid composition

2013

AbstractMetabolic fluxes are a key parameter of metabolic pathways being closely related to the kinetic properties of enzymes and could be conditional on their sequence characteristics. This study examines possible relationships between the metabolic fluxes and the amino acid (AA) composition (AAC) for enzymes from the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae glycolysis pathway. Metabolic fluxes were quantified by the COPASI tool using the kinetic models of Hynne and Teusink at 25 mM, 50 mM, and 100 mM of external glucose or employing literature data for cognate kinetic or stoichiometric models. The enzyme sequences were taken from the UniProtKB, and the AAC computed by the ExPASy/ProtParam tool. Mul…

Relationships between kinetic constants and the amino acid composition of enzymes from the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae glycolysis pathway

2012

The kinetic models of metabolic pathways represent a system of biochemical reactions in terms of metabolic fluxes and enzyme kinetics. Therefore, the apparent differences of metabolic fluxes might reflect distinctive kinetic characteristics, as well as sequence-dependent properties of the employed enzymes. This study aims to examine possible linkages between kinetic constants and the amino acid (AA) composition (AAC) for enzymes from the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae glycolytic pathway. The values of Michaelis-Menten constant (K M), turnover number (k cat), and specificity constant (k sp = k cat/K M) were taken from BRENDA (15, 17, and 16 values, respectively) and protein sequences of nine…
