[EN] The application of solid state electrochemistry techniques for dating archaeological strata using lead-containing bronze coins is described. The proposed methodology was applied to samples coming from the Roman archaeological site of Magna Mater Temple (Rome, Italy) occurring in different strata dating back between the second half and the end of the 4(th) century A.D. and the 20(th) century. The voltammetric signatures of copper and lead corrosion products in contact with aqueous acetate buffer, as well as the catalytic effects produced on the hydrogen evolution reaction, were used for establishing the age of different strata and dating coins belonging to unknown age. The following paper analyzes the plot of the 1934 film It Happened One Night, by Frank Capra, an authentic emblem within the film genre of romantic comedy. In it, the protagonists manage to overcome the obstacles that are offered in their way thanks to the pretense of a relationship, the marital one, which finally will end up becoming effective. Recalling a famous Lacanian sentence, according to which human beings “pretend to pretend”, the plot devised by Capra will be analyzed in order to go over the steps that sequence such pretenses. A pilot study on non-invasive treatment of migraine: The self-myofascial release

The aims of this paper was to determine the effect of self-myofascial release (SMFR) on postural stability and to analyze if it can influence migraine condition. Twenty-five subjects (age 49.7±12.5) affected by migraine were enrolled. Assessments included a stabilometric analysis in order to evaluate balance and plantar support, with eyes open (OE) and closed (CE); cervical ROM measurement; evaluation of upper limb strength through handgrip. La escritura medieval y la preservación de la memoria y el saber en el Libro de Apolonio

La escritura se tematiza en el Libro de Apolonio, un poema castellano de mediados del siglo XIII, a través de numerosos episodios que permiten resolver las situaciones difíciles que el héroe debe enfrentar para que así la acción narrativa avance. Además de definir a Apolonio como un héroe letrado, lo escrito busca preservar la memoria de los hechos notables del pasado, resaltando tanto la condición heroica del protagonista del poema como la función social de la escritura en el contexto del siglo XIII castellano.

The theme of memory is at the heart of apse mosaic of Santa Agnese fuori le mura. It’s a visual discourse about a roman martyr linked to the founder of new basilica and the “purpuresque pavo”. With the offering of this mosaics, the pope Honorius honours Saint Agnes’s memory. Honorius reaches to blend in a complex system of commemoration. Some close links are forged between the pope and the roman martyr. A true locus memoriae was established on the Via Nomentana since the middle of the IVth century. Mentre le pseudorelative sono diffuse pressoché in tutta la Romània, con qualche variazione parametrica minore, i gerundi predicativi e gli infiniti preposizionali sono usati solo in alcune varietà.
