From quantitative spatial operators to qualitative spatial relationships : a new approach applied to the detection and the semantic qualification of …
2012
This work presents the 3D Spatial Qualification tool (3DSQ) which was created tocompute spatial data stored in OWL-DL ontology. By using the adjustment principle ofan existing ontology, it is then possible to add 3D data to existing objects and computetheir spatial relationships from their 3D models. The 3DSQ Platform makes an attempt toensure the interaction between heterogeneous environments. Actually, such a semanticplatform connects an adjusted OWL ontology structure, a 3D quantification engine, avisualization engine and a set of geometry via knowledge processing technologymaterialized via SWRL, SQWRL rules and SPARQL queries within its extended Built-Ins. The created Spatial Built-Ins …

The role of caregiver in inclusion processes of separated children: linguistic and psycho-pedagogical reflections.
2016
Great attention has been paid to human rights protection of separated children. One example is given by the several editions of Statement of Good Practice (SCEP) that provide a straightforward account of the policies and practices required to implement and protect the human rights of separated children. Nevertheless, when coming into terms with the various needs of separated children, various difficulties are experienced linked to the unawareness of the implications linguistic and cultural diversity may have. In building a framework for action and advocacy not only one has to be linguistically skilled but also aware of how a particular society works and that language implies culture, societ…
Knowledge engineering and semantic formalism of symbolic relations. From medieval network to web 3.0
2020
A search has always been at the center of human concerns, the one of conditions and means to represent, to control well, and to communicate effectively with his environment. While technological advances and electronic gadgets such as smartphones, the Web, and online social networks currently allow addressing this concern, it has not always been the case. Our works in this thesis treat medieval documents considered as a medium of communication and as a model of the social network in the Middle Ages. These documents are called medieval illuminations. They were luxurious paintings used in that time to represent the environment and ideal world for elites such as prince, duke, etc. Those paintin…

Le cose del Sé. Per un'archeologia della cultura materiale
2016
