Monografia, introdotta da E. Salzano e da B. Rossi Doria. Tramite un’analisi sul “linguaggio urbanistico” si riflette sulle trasformazioni della disciplina, intesa come “scienza di sintesi”, fluida e mutevole, costituita da “migrazioni” transdisciplinari e da permeazioni tra diversi saperi e paradigmi, nel tempo. L’analisi viene compiuta su alcuni strumenti urbanistici, elaborati tra in XIX sec. e i giorni nostri. Ciò viene svolto analizzando le “parole” dei piani, come fossero l’ordito che esprime le diverse teorie, idee, tecniche dell’urbanistica e della pianificazione.

Most of existing reinforced concrete structures suffer due to corrosion of steel and concrete degradation. In many cases existing structures reveal to be inadequate to absorb the expected seismic load and need to be rehabilitated according to the in force code. In the worst case some structures have not been designed to absorb horizontal actions. The rehabilitation process begins with the complete knowledge of its geometrical configuration and the evaluation of the vulnerability of the structure to seismic loads. The present paper deals with the investigation of quasi-static and dynamic mechanical response of epoxy-based composites reinforced with flax and/or jute plain weave fabrics. In order to evaluate the influence of the stacking sequence, two monolithic laminates reinforced with flax or jute fibers and two hybrid flax/jute laminates were manufactured through the vacuum infusion technique. Furthermore, an eco-friendly and cost-effective surface treatment based on fiber soaking in a sodium bicarbonate solution was employed to improve the fiber-matrix adhesion. I will argue for the similarity between some aspects of Aristotle’s doctrine of causes and a particular kind of interventionist theory of causality. The interventionist account hypothesizes that there is a connection between causation and human intervention: the idea of a causal relation between two events is generated by the reflection of human beings on their own operating. This view is remindful of the Aristotelian concept of αἴτιον (cause), which is linked to the figure of the αἴτιος, the person who is responsible of an action. L’ED usa un potenziale elettrico per indurre una migrazione selettiva di cationi ed anioni da una soluzione elettrolitica ad un’altra, sfruttando membrane a scambio ionico. Membrane anioniche e cationiche sono alternativamente collocate all’interno di una unità ED. Formulation of structural optimization problems usually leads to the individuation of one or more objective functions to be minimized under different constraints. Two formulations of a special multicriterion optimal design problem devoted to elastic perfectly plastic steel frame structures subjected to different combinations of static and dynamic loads are presented.
