GOBERNANZA DEL AGUA Y TERRITORIOS HIDROSOCIALES: DEL ANÁLISIS INSTITUCIONAL A LA ECOLOGÍA POLÍTICA

[ES] En las últimas décadas han surgido diversos enfoques para dar respuesta a los desafíos que plantea la gestión del agua. Este artículo presenta, de manera introductoria, las principales aproximaciones teóricas desde las cuales se está analizando en la actualidad el uso y la gobernanza del agua: las corrientes neoinstitucionalistas, la teoría de los recursos comunes y la perspectiva del empoderamiento que se relaciona con la ecología política. La descripción de estos enfoques sirve para contextualizar las distintas aportaciones que se presentan en este monográfico sobre el estudio de los territorios hidrosociales, cuyos principales resultados se exponen sucintamente.

The open metastable structure of a collapsible sand: fabric and bonding

This paper deals with the compositional and textural characteristics determining open metastable structures in the pleistocenic sand outcropping in the Agrigento district (Sicily). The aim of the study was to individuate the bonding types occurring between grains that could generate matric suction phenomena. The composition and microfabric were characterised by means of granulometry, porosimetry, permeability, optical and ESEM-EDS microscopy, thermogravimetry and XR diffractometry, electric conductivity, and ionic chromatography. The Co-cathedral of San Nicolás de Alicante still preserves an important treasure of pieces of silverware, ranging from the 17th to the 20th centuries, although the greatest development was known during the 18th century, with sumptuous commissions to the most prominent silversmiths both locally as at regional and national level. In this way, it can be said that the Alicante trousseau is a good example of a temple that, once built, focuses its efforts on the collection of silverware objects that enhance the cult and its ceremonies.

The paper focused on the evolution and the comparison of the extracellular polymeric substances (EPSs) content during the granulation process in two Granular Sequencing Batch Airlift Reactors (GSBAR) (3,5 L) fed with synthetic (R1) and industrial wastewater (R2). The results showed that in both the reactors the EPSs, in particular proteins (PN), were mainly produced during the feast phase because of the high substrate availability, especially under conditions of metabolic stress. Then, the EPSs content reduced during the famine period, because of biodegradation by bacteria.
