Abstract A series of [1,2]Oxazolo [5,4- e ]isoindoles has been synthesized through a versatile and high yielding sequence. All the new structures showed in the 1 HNMR spectra, the typical signal in the 8.34–8.47 ppm attributable to the H-3 of the [1,2]oxazole moiety. They provide rapid, cost-effective early feedback to identify drug candidates with potential hepatotoxicity. This unit presents a cell-based assay to evaluate the risk of liver damage associated with steatogenic drugs. Abstract Background A need for a governance of genomics in healthcare among European Union (EU) countries arose during an international meeting of experts on public health genomics (PHG). We have conducted a survey on existing national genomic policies in healthcare among Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) of the 28 EU member states, plus Norway. Methods A questionnaire was sent to CMOs after a meeting on the policy implications of PHG held during the Italian presidency of the Council of EU in 2014. The survey was closed in November 2015.
