Phenolic compounds are secondary metabolites involved in different protection mechanisms as, for example, against grazers, epiphytes and UV radiation. Seasonal variations of phenolic content in C. amentacea were analysed and laboratory experiments, in which C. amentacea was exposed to an increase of temperature (258C and 308C), were performed. Total phenolic content (TPC) was determined colorimetrically with the Folin–Ciocalteu reagent. In C. amentacea, a seasonal pattern in TPC was observed, with a maximum value in winter-spring. C. amentacea responded significantly to the temperature treatments with a consistent decrease in TPC after 48 h.

Szeroka definicja malarstwa religijnego pozwala na odnalezienie wielu punktów stycznych między szkolną katechezą i wychowaniem plastycznym. Zasadniczy problem tekstu można wyrazić w pytaniu: Jakie obrazy są wykorzystywane we współczesnych materiałach do szkolnego nauczania religii na poziomie gimnazjalnym? Malarstwo religijne obecne jest w wielu szkolnych podręcznikach. Starting from the concept that knowledge comes as element of mediation between the convergent thinking, founded on experience, and the divergent thinking, placed in the perceptive, intuitive, creative dimension, in this paper we want to present an idea for developing an educational path combining the concept of “beauty” and some historical notes. Children's exploration of the concepts of home and belonging: Capturing views from five European countries.

Understanding one's sense of belonging is a central part of identity formation and self-awareness; feeling safe somewhere, with specific people is identified as a basic human need. This paper explores the ideas of children from three age groups in five different European as they discussed the concepts of ‘home’ and ‘belonging’. Findings showed that the children's ideas could be organised into six interrelated aspects: Spatiality, Materiality, Multiplicity, Social Relations, Affect, and Dislocation. Search for heavy neutrinos with the T2K near detector ND280

This paper reports on the search for heavy neutrinos with masses in the range 140<MN<493 MeV/c2 using the off-axis near detector ND280 of the T2K experiment. These particles can be produced from kaon decays in the standard neutrino beam and then subsequently decay in ND280. The decay modes under consideration are N→ℓ±απ∓ and N→ℓ+αℓ−β(−)ν(α,β=e,μ). A search for such events has been made using the Time Projection Chambers of ND280, where the background has been reduced to less than two events in the current dataset in all channels.
