In this article, the author reflects on the associative models chosen by Spanish working and popular classes since the middle of nineteenth century in order to defend their interests, especially in the case of the difussion of culture and education. It is remarkable the continuity and success of some inherited prototypes, as it happened with the «ateneos» until the years of the Spanish civil war. At the same time, workers' organizations tried to satisfy an extensive range of demands by developing multifunctional centres. Examples of these were the «Casas del Pueblo» (People's Houses) erected by the socialist movement.

In this paper I will compare A. Honneth’s neo-socialist project with J. Habermas’ proposal of a post-secular society. Since both of these approaches are aimed to contrast with neoliberal theories, I will give explanation of my preference for Habermas’. I will do that by considering the relationship between the concepts of utopia, liberty and society.

Proscribing the Nordic Resistance Movement in Finland: Analyzing the Process and its Outcome

The Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM) was banned in Finland in 2020 after a court process lasting more than two and half years. This article details how effective the ban has been and how the organization has adapted to the ban, both during the process and after the verdict. The NRM has followed strategies similar to previous proscription cases, especially National Action in the UK in 2016, with whom NRM members discussed and shared experiences before the banning process began. Adaptation has meant new organizational forms and the founding of new associations. In this paper, I suggest that we apply the category of “social Theodicy” to Bastiat’s political and economic thought. By this category, it is possible to see how Bastiat’s reflection is aimed to justify the presence of “social pathologies” in society against socialist theorists’ intention to completely eliminate it by politics. Il socialismo, nella visione di Napoleone Colajanni, avrebbe operato meglio se alla lotta di classe si fosse sostituito il metodo di un avanzamento graduale di innovazioni e riforme da applicare ai diversi ambiti della società. Stava qui, secondo lui, la chiave di lettura di un socialismo davvero scientifico, insieme alla possibilità di pervenire a una patria effettivamente repubblicana caratterizzata da un ampio decentramento diramato in forma federale e municipale.
