Artykuł stanowi próbę analizy przejawów empatii w twórczości naukowej i życiu Edyty Stein oraz zwraca uwagę na psychologiczną rolę empatii w rozwoju osobowości. Warto podkreślić znaczenie zarówno samej postaci tej wybitnej uczennicy Husserla, jak i wymowę ekumeniczną jej twórczości. Pojęcie „empatia” pojawiło się w pierwszych dekadach XX w., a podstawą analizy tego zjawiska były filozoficzne (fenomenologiczne) rozważania dotyczące zagadnień poznawania cudzych stanów psychicznych. Jednym z pierwszych psychologów, który czerpał z osiągnięć fenomenologów i użył terminu Die Einfühlung, był Theodor Lipps. La ricerca si propone di analizzare puntualmente la categoria steiniana dell’Einfühlung per farne una chiave di accesso al pensiero della fenomenologa, capace di attraversarlo nel suo complesso e di mostrarne gli aspetti più originali. The entomopathogenic nematode-bacterium complex of Steinernema-Xenorhabdus has high potential as lethal biological control agent against many insect pest species. The Red Palm Weevil (RPW) Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) is an important worldwide palm trees pest. This insect is a quarantined pest, accidentally introduced in Sicily in 2005. The pest is killed by Steirnenema carpocapsae, but nematodes are unable to reproduce in the RPW larvae.
