For some years now, an idea has been imposed: the nature/culture opposition needs to be rethought deeply. Both the notion of culture and that of nature have nothing universal and necessary, least of all their relationship. Philosophers, anthropologists and sociologists of science have thus begun to deconstruct the evidence that covers the concept of nature. Examining from a semiotic point of view some dictionary entries, this article tries to go in the same direction. It turns out that nature is cultural construction, and every culture forges it differently.

Through an unorthodox reading of Hannah Arendt, this article argues that her political thought contains unacknowledged resources for conceptualizing embodiment in politics, and in relation to the economy, physical needs, and appearance. In contrast to the way she is typically read, this essay develops an affirmative account of embodiment in Arendt's work. Arendt not only recognizes the role of the appearing body in action but also underscores the importance of labor and necessity for a human sense of reality. Le Festival de la chanson de Sanremo est l’un des événements médiatique plus importants d’Italie. L’édition 2020, centrée sur le thème de la violence faite aux femmes, s’est déroulée sous le feu d’une controverse qui a conduit présentateurs et spectateurs a se questionner en direct sur la « vraie » violence. Notre objectif est de comprendre ce que les normes du genre télévisuel font à la mise en discours de la violence de genre. Le résultat est paradoxal : on aboutit à normaliser le sexisme tout en dénonçant le viol. In this paper we describe the relationships between two fundamental “cognitive gestures” of human beings: naming and counting. In particular, we try to define these relationships by examining the theoretical efforts of such authors as Euclide, Frege, Wittgenstein, Chomsky and Aristotle. The analysis is centered around justifying the mutual dependence between noun and number in human cognition.
Application of time-dependent many-body perturbation theory to excitation spectra of selected finite model systems

In this thesis, an approximate method introduced to solve time-dependent many-body problems known as time-dependent many-body perturbation theory is studied. Many-body perturbation theory for interacting electrons and phonons is reviewed. In particular, the electron propagator G and an unconventional two-component phonon propagator, which satisfy coupled integral Dyson equations, are introduced. In practice, the associated integral kernels known as the electron Σ and phonon self-energies need to be approximated.
