This paper reconstructs the debate raised by the thesis on cinema proposed by Pier Paolo Pasolini. In particular, two basic notions are addressed: the idea of cinema as a 'written language of reality' and the role of free indirect discourse for the establishment of a 'poetry cinema'. Pasolini is put into dialogue with Gilles Deleuze, Paolo Fabbri and other semiologists.

Tutkimuksen kohteena on itsesensuuri ja flow-tila. Tutkimus keskittyy tarkastelemaan kirjoittamista prosessina sekä itsesensuurin ja flow-tilan vastavoimaisuutta tämän prosessin sisällä. Kirjallisuuskatsauksen pohjalta pyrin löytämään vastauksen asettamaani tutkimusongelmaan ja siitä jakautuviin tutkimuskysymyksiin: Mistä kirjoittajan itsesensuurissa on kysymys ja miten kirjoittajan itsesensuurin ylittämistä voidaan edesauttaa? Teoreettisena lähtökohtana on psykoanalyyttinen tutkimus. Käsityksen mukaan yksilössä vaikuttaa tuntemattomia voimia joiden energia on viettiperäistä ja päämäärät juontavat syvälle yksilön lapsuuteen. The article proposes a reflection on the ability of words to soothe pain and, more generally, the ability of language to have (positive or negative) effects on our lives. This ambivalent power represents an interesting phenomenon to better understand the role that language plays in the construction (and/or dissolution) of our social bonds. The reflection is guided by some intuitions of psychoanalysis which have their roots in ancient Greek culture and especially in classical rhetoric.
