Problēma: Psoriāze mūsdienās ir izplatīta iekaisuma ādas slimība. Ar psoriāzi slimo dažāda dzimuma un vecuma cilvēki. Psoriāze būtiski ietekmē cilvēka dzīves kvalitāti. To var ārstēt ar lokāliem, sistēmiskiem līdzekļiem un papildus tiek lietoti dažādi kosmētiskie līdzekļi. Psoriāze ir nopietna sociāla problēma, kas skar vismaz 100 miljonus cilvēku visā pasaulē. Pētījuma mērķis: Veikt psoriāzi ārstējošo zāļu un kosmētisko līdzekļu apgrozījuma izpēti vairākās Latvijas aptiekās no 2014. gada janvāra līdz 2016. gada decembrim. Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma tarkastelee masentuneiden ja terveiden koehenkilöiden tunnetiedon käsittelyn eroja. Tarkoituksena on selvittää, onko masentuneiden ja terveiden koehenkilöiden välillä eroa kasvonilmeiden välittämän tunnetiedon käsittelyssä aivoissa, ja vaikuttaako kognitiivis-behavioraalinen CBASP-psykoterapia aivovasteisiin. Tutkimuksen 42 koehenkilöstä 32 oli masentuneita ja 10 terveitä. Masentuneet koehenkilöt jaettiin sattumanvaraisesti terapiaryhmään ja tavanomaisen hoidon ryhmään. Spontaneous rectus sheath hematoma (SRSH) is an uncommon cause of acute abdominal pain characterized by bleeding within the rectus sheath; it is a benign condition and, in most cases, it is treated conservatively. Bleeding of the abdominal wall is an unusual condition that is quite challenging to identify promptly and can be easily overlooked during a routine physical examination. In daily practice, anticoagulant therapy is one of the main risk factors for hemorrhagic events. In this respect, we report a rare case of spontaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall (diagnosed and monitored through an ultrasound examination) that arose after sneezing in a patient receiving anticoagulant treatment.
An Uncommon Case of Adolescent Ovarian Teratoma Incarcerated in Inguinal Hernia

Mature cystic teratoma is the most frequent benign ovarian neoplastic lesion in adolescents and is generally composed of fully differentiated tissue arising from multipotential three germinal layers. It accounts for approximately 50% of benign ovarian tumors in childhood. Rarely, a bilateral, synchronous, or metachronous presentation can be observed, supporting a conservative approach as the first surgical approach. We report a case of an ovarian mature cystic incarcerated in indirect inguinal hernia in a 15-year-old girl undergoing ovary-sparing surgery. Introduction and objectives: Urinary sodium (UNa+) has emerged as a useful biomarker of poor clinical outcomes in acute heart failure (AHF). Bronhiālā astma ir plaši izplatīta slimība, kas skar vairāk nekā 30 miljonu cilvēku. Latvijā ar astmu slimo 1% iedzīvotāju. Šī darba mērķis bija noskaidrot bronhiālās astmas ārstēšanā izmantojamo medikamentozo terapiju atšķirības dažādās Latvijas reģionu aptiekās, balstoties uz Pasaules Astmas iniciatīvas organizācijas (GINA) 2016.gada izstrādātajām vadlīnijām. Tika iegūti rezultāti, ka astmas kontrolēšanai paredzēto medikamentu izvēle visās piecās aptiekās atbilst GINA 2016. gada izstrādātajām vadlīnijām..
