Investment of parasitic worms of captive wildlife was an impact on their health condition. This study was conducted to determine the intensity of parasitic worm infection in wild animals kept by communities in Manokwari, West Papua. The Natif method was used, by centrifuge of 20 birds and 20 mammals (Kangaroo and Deer) faeces collected from the sites. Sampling was carried out from October to November 2016. The analysis of collected faecal samples showed that bird species were not indicated (negatively infected by worm). In mammals, Nematodes and cestodes were found. Attualmente i sistemi di controllo direzionale (timone) e di stabilità (flap) dei battelli veloci per il trasporto passeggeri (HSC) sono realizzati con elementi scatolari in acciaio. Ciò è essenzialmente dovuto alle notevoli sollecitazioni idrodinamiche che tali elementi sopportano a causa dell’elevata velocità di crociera. L’esigenza di ridurre il peso di tali elementi e di aumentarne la resistenza alle azioni corrosive esterne spinge ad una ricerca su materiali e tecnologie di fabbricazioni innovative. In questo studio è presentato il progetto di un timone, realizzato in materiale ibrido composito e acciaio, da impiegare su un battello per trasporto veloce passeggeri.

This work examines the monetary finds from the Acropolis of Gela during the excavations of 1952–1953, 1955 and 1961. It is possible to reconstruct the contexts of discovery for 106 specimens, which come from the main occupation phases of the site, between the fifth and third centuries BC. By reconstructing the contexts it was possible to establish the nature of the monetary finds (single finds or hoards) and the function of the coins within each context (accidental loss or deliberate deposition). Pro gradu -tutkielmani käsittelee sarjakuva-ekfrasiksen mahdollisuutta sarjakuvassa. Pyrin löytämään vastauksia seuraaviin kysymyksiin: miten ja millaisista teoreettisista lähtökohdista sarjakuva-ekfrasis rakentuu? Voidaanko sarjakuva-ekfrasiksen löytämiseksi luoda vakaata tulkintakehystä, ja pystyykö käsitteelle antamaan pätevää määritelmää? Hypoteesinani on, että sarjakuvan narratiivilla on erityinen merkitys sarjakuva-ekfrasiksen paikantamisessa. Pro gradu -työssäni tutkin Timo Hännikäisen Ilman-esseekokoelman, teoksen pohjalta syntyneiden internetkeskusteluketjujen ja lehtiartikkelien muodostamaa kokonaisyhteyttä. Kiinnitän huomioni asetelmaan, jossa Ilmanista pääasiallisesti keskustellaan aiheesta kirjoitettujen lehtijuttujen pohjalta, ei niinkään itse teoksen lukemisesta saatujen tietojen perusteella. Konkreettisten yhteyksien vähäisyydestä huolimatta teoksen ja vastaanoton voi nähdä limittyvän toisiinsa ja antavan perusteita toistensa olemassaololle. Suomalaisen luontorunouden maisema on aina ollut linnuista rikas. Siivekkäitä ihaillaan runoudessa usein etäällä lentävinä, tai lintu paljastuu jonkun inhimillisen tunteen tai toiveen vertauskuvaksi. 1970-luvulla suomalaisen runouden lintukuvauksessa tapahtui muutos. Linnut tulivat lukijan lähelle kouriintuntuvasti mutta silti eläimellisen vierautensa säilyttäen. Ne alkoivat myös kärsiä ympäristöongelmista todellisten lintujen tavoin.
