Mucoid impaction and plastic bronchitis are relatively rare disorders affecting patients of any age. Here we report the case of mucoid impaction developing in a four-year-old child as a complication of pneumonic infection treated four weeks prior. p.a. chest X-ray and fiberoptic bronchoscopy showed atelectasis and the location of a mucus cast in the left upper lobe. After extraction of the cast via the suction channel of the bronchoscope had failed, we administered 2.5 mg of undiluted recombinant human deoxyribonuclease (rhDNase) instilled directly over the affected area of occlusion for 15 minutes. This mucolytic agent mobilized the cast by reducing viscoelasticity and adherence of mucus. …

Combination of Searches for Invisible Higgs Boson Decays with the ATLAS Experiment

Dark matter particles, if sufficiently light, may be produced in decays of the Higgs boson. This Letter presents a statistical combination of searches for H → invisible decays where H is produced according to the standard model via vector boson fusion, Z(ℓℓ)H, and W/Z(had)H, all performed with the ATLAS detector using 36.1 fb⁻¹ of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √s = 13 TeV at the LHC. In combination with the results at √s = 7 and 8 TeV, an exclusion limit on the H → invisible branching ratio of 0.26(0.17-0.05+0.07) at 95% confidence level is observed (expected).
Ontology languages for the semantic web: A never completely updated review

This paper gives a never completely account of approaches that have been used for the research community for representing knowledge. After underlining the importance of a layered approach and the use of standards, it starts with early efforts used for artificial intelligence researchers. Then recent approaches, aimed mainly at the semantic web, are described. Coding examples from the literature are presented in both sections. Finally, the semantic web ontology creation process, as we envision it, is introduced.

Student‐athletes who strive for success in high‐level sports while pursuing upper secondary education may be prone to sport and school burnout. This study examined the co‐developmental dynamic of sport and school burnout in Finnish adolescent student‐athletes (Ntime 1 = 391; Ntime 2 = 373) across the first year of upper secondary school using cross‐lagged structural equation modeling (SEM). Furthermore, we used sport and school‐related achievement goals as predictors of sport and school burnout, namely sport and school‐related exhaustion, cynicism, and feelings of inadequacy.
