After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered. Drawing on recordings of remote screen-based work meetings in Finland, this conversation analytic study investigates interactive properties of mouse cursor movements in technology-mediated shared tasks. The article illustrates how participants rely on features afforded by the input device in ways that divert from its pre-designed functions to accomplish virtual pointing gestures. These gestures serve as an organizational resource in the precursory phase of action, i.e. when a next on-screen action is observably made relevant. Pieaugošā sociālā vajadzība noteikt darbinieku labklājību par prioritāti prasa pragmatisku veidu, kā panākt labāku demokrātiju darba vietā mūsdienu kapitāla uzkrāšanas laikmeta robežās. Pētījuma mērķis ir izstrādāt priekšlikumus demokrātijas uzlabošanai darba vietā, izmantojot teledarba politiku. Rezultāts ir priekšlikumu kopums, kuru mērķis ir uzlabot demokrātiju darba vietā, izmantojot atbilstošu tāldarba politiku, vienlaikus uzlabojot darbinieku labklājību. Procesā netika atrasta statistiski nozīmīga saikne starp subjektīvo autonomiju, atbildību un sniegumu. Tālāk autore izstrādāja provizorisku teorētisku ietvaru, kurā darba demokrātija ir apvienota ar tāldarbu.

The construction of knowledge is a collaborative process that has seen a dramatic growth over recent decades, since almost all research activities now involve increasing numbers of researchers, institutions, disciplines and countries. Tensions and resilience: the experiences of adult foster-care workers in Finland

This article examines adult foster care for older people in Finland. This is a semi-formal service in which older people are cared for by foster carers who are remunerated for their work by the local municipality. In the article, the tensions and resources of resilience of foster-care work are analysed. The data consist of 12 thematic interviews with foster carers. The results suggest that foster-care work is emotionally draining and has adverse effects on social relationships. However, foster carers see caring as purposeful, they see themselves as professionals and they have enough social resources.
