Modes of access to the academic career are generally regarded as crucial element of policy on science and higher education in a country. This can influence the future productivity of teaching and research in different countries. Our research is specifically concerned with the factors that may explain the conditions that lead to integration of researchers and lecturers in the academic career in France. Entrepreneurial universities: A bibliometric analysis within the business and management domains

Abstract This study presents a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications investigating entrepreneurial universities in the business and management fields. The authors collected 511 documents from the Web of Science and analysed them using Bibliometrix, an RStudio package for performance analysis and science mapping. The study aims to provide an overview of the evolution of research about this topic and describe the structures (i.e., conceptual, social, and intellectual) characterising it. Aquest article presenta i valora la tasca desenvolupada per la xarxa d'universitats Institut Joan Lluís Vives amb motiu del seu desè aniversari. A partir de la documentació generada pel mateix Institut, s'observa la seua preocupació pels temes relacionats amb la llengua. D'acord amb això, valoro la tasca efectuada per l'Institut des d'un vessant més sociolingüístic. Intento mostrar que si bé la feina de l'Institut ha permès que la llengua catalana guanyi prestigi acadèmic, això no ha implicat un augment del seu ús en l'àmbit universitari.

Abstract This article reports an experiment in which an attempt was made to test reading a scientific text under as natural study conditions as possible. After reading a lengthy text from a Sociology textbook in English, five out of 25 Finnish college students understood a basic concept the way it had been defined by a sociologist; 4 weeks later, after going over the text the second time in Finnish, the number increased to 12. However, even after the second reading of the text in their first language, only half of the students had learnt the basic concept. This paper analyzes the widespread presence of history and diachronic linguistics in the labour of codification recently carried out by Real Academia Española and Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española in their new books Nueva gramática de la lengua española and Ortografía de la lengua española. These works draw on a wide-ranging and reliable corpus of examples from previous historical periods.
