Tutkimuksemme tarkoituksena oli tarkastella, kuinka paljon parisuhdeväkivallasta puhutaan pariterapiassa, mitä ja kuinka osallistujat puhuvat siitä sekä kuinka osallistujien ihon sähkönjohtavuus liittyy väkivaltakeskusteluihin. Accurate estimation of the time-variant (TV) velocity of moving persons/objects in indoor spaces is of crucial importance for numerous wireless indoor applications. This article introduces a novel iterative procedure to estimate the TV velocity, i.e., TV speed and TV angle-of-motion (AOM), of a single moving person in 2D indoor environments by using radio-frequency (RF) techniques. This chapter explores how experientially based pedagogical activities that involve participation in real life service encounters provide occasions for developing L2 interactional competence. The data comprises novice L2 students’ self-recorded interactions in service settings and videorecordings of classroom planning activities and de-briefing discussions, where the students reflect on their experiences. The analysis traces what kinds of occasions for learning arise as the students move between the classroom and the real-world service settings. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of Formagraph to determine the milk clotting activity of animal Sicilian rennet pastes. Clotting time (r), curd firming time (k20) and curd firmness (a30) were measured during coagulation tests carried out with pasteurized cows’ milk. The rennet paste samples were collected in 11 dairy factories located throughout western Sicily. The factories produce two different pasta-filata cheese typologies, Caciocavallo Palermitano and PDO Vastedda della valle del Belìce, made with cows raw milk and ewe raw milk, respectively. A Band Model of Cambium Development: Opportunities and Prospects

More than 60% of tree phytomass is concentrated in stem wood, which is the result of periodic activity of the cambium. Nevertheless, there are few attempts to quantitatively describe cambium dynamics. In this study, we develop a state-of-the-art band model of cambium development, based on the kinetic heterogeneity of the cambial zone and the connectivity of the cell structure. The model describes seasonal cambium development based on an exponential function under climate forcing which can be effectively used to estimate the seasonal cell production for individual trees.
