Scopo La terapia dei disordini neurologici mediante tcMRgFUS è stata effettuata utilizzando esclusivamente scanner RM da 3T. Utilizzando uno scanner RM da 1.5T la qualità delle sequenze morfologiche utilizzabili per la pianificazione di questi trattamenti è risultata essere soddisfacente utilizzando la bobina body RF (quella utilizzata con scanner 3T). Tuttavia l'SNR delle sequenze utilizzate per la termometria RM è risultato inferiore allo standard accettabile per i trattamenti. È stata quindi sviluppata una bobina a 2 canali per assicurare un adeguato SNR. Composition and corrosion phases of Etruscan Bronzes from Villanovan Age

A neutron diffraction (ND) and neutron tomography (NT) study of laminated ancient bronzes was performed at the ISIS (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK) neutron source and at the BENSC reactor (Hahn-Meitner Institut, Germany). The samples are part of an 8th century BC Etruscan collection discovered in the necropolises of Osteria-Poggio Mengarelli and Cavalupo in the Vulci area (Viterbo, Italy). The study allowed us to derive-in a totally non-destructive manner-information related to the main composition of the objects, possible presence of alterations and their nature, crusts and inclusions, as well as structure of the bulk. Statistical Approximation of Fourier Transform-IR Spectroscopy Data for Zinc White Pigment from Twentieth-Century Russian Paintings

We present a statistical model for approximation of experimental Fourier transform-IR spectroscopy (FTIR) data for paint samples from paintings of different ages. The model utilizes random variations in some parameters (initial ageing rate, degree of change in ageing rate and time at which the change occurs). We determine the parameters characterizing variation in the paint composition and the storage conditions for the paintings. The numerical calculation is qualitatively consistent with the experimental data. High frequency data entry: statistical findings at high frequency

We introduce some of the most common types of high-frequency financial data: tick-by-tick data, trade andquote data, order bookdata, andmarket member data. We describe the types of variables that are usually available in the most popular high-frequency financial databases. We discuss the issues related to the handling of these data, including cleaning protocols, timing issues, and issues related to data size. We then briefly consider the issues related to the stylized facts detected in the empirical analysis of high- frequency data.
