BACKGROUND. A fundamental requirement to obtain a correct endodontic preparation depends on the respect, during cleaning and shaping, of the original morphology of the apical foramen, (AF), so that the filling material will form a complete seal. METHODS. In our previous studies, in order to verify if this presumption was respected using rotary NiTi instruments with cutting tip, we instrumented extracted teeth characterised by a different degree of root curvatures. Bakalaura darba “Aktuālo notikumu analīze Twitter vidē” mērķis ir izpētīt, kā savākt un analizēt sociālā tīkla Twitter lietotāju tvītus. Darba gaitā tika noskaidrots, kādi ir esošie resursi tvītu meklēšanai, ievākšanai un analīzei. Tika salīdzināti esošie rīki, identificēti to priekšrocības un trūkumi. Pētījumam tika izmantoti Latvijas lietotāju tvīti, kas ir atlasīti pēc atslēgvārdiem, datuma un valodas. Izpētei darbā tika izvēlēti tvīti par Covid-19 epidēmiju. Darba rezultātā tika izstrādāta Python programma, kas mijiedarbojas ar Twitter API, meklē tvītus pēc noteiktiem kritērijiem un saglabā tos piemērotā veidā. PDAs are more and more used as advanced adaptive HEI (human-environment interaction) interfaces, thus enabling their users to easily operate applications remotely running in pervasive computing scenarios. Based on a previous implementation, in this paper we discuss the development of a new set of .NET-compliant Application Programming Interfaces to be used within the Visual Studio IDE. Maģistra darba ietvaros tika pētīti un aprakstīti mākoņskaitļošanas platformās esošu mašīnmācīšanās un dabiskās valodas apstrādes rīku - Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio un IBM Watson API tīmekļa pakalpju - piedāvātās iespējas lietojumprogrammatūru izstrādē. Viens no būtiskākajiem darba mērķiem bija rast atbildi jautājumam par to, vai un kā konkrētie rīki var paplašināt šo tehniku pieejamību un veicināt to izmantošanu lietojumprogrammatūru izstrādē. Web Traffic Modeling for E-Commerce Web Server System

The paper concerns a problem of the e-commerce Web server system performance evaluation through simulation experiments, especially a problem of modeling a representative stream of user requests at the input of such system. Motivated by a need of a benchmarking tool for the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) environment we discuss a workload model typical of such Web sites and also a model of a multi-tiered e-commerce Web server system. A simulation tool in which the proposed models have been implemented is briefly talked over and some experimental results on the Web system performance in terms of traditional and business performance measures are presented.

Background: Athamanta sicula L., a member of Apiaceae, is an annual perennial herb and it is known in Sicilian popular medicine with the name of “spaccapietre” (rock splitters), because fresh roots infusions are indicated as diuretic and used in the treatment of diseases of the urinary tract, and to dissolve kidney stones. Materials and Methods: Acetone extracts of leaves, flowers, and stems of A. sicula L. were investigated in vitro for antibacterial and cytotoxic activities. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt sociālā tīmekļa Twitter tvītu metadatu sastāvu, tvītu ievākšanas metodes, publiski pieejamas sistēmas lietotāja profila analīzei un iegūt ieskatu kādu informāciju varētu uzskatīt par lietotājam nedrošu.
