On the semantic interpretation of complex causatives in Finnish: An experimental morphology approach

It is well documented that in some languages, such as in Finnish, it is possible to stack derivational morphemes iteratively to word stems. However, such complex words are seldom used in real communication, and it is unclear whether they are interpreted compositionally in tandem with their morphological structure. Here I studied the matter by eliciting semantic interpretations from ten native speakers of Finnish for words whose complexity and morphemic content were systematically varied. Il saggio prende le mosse da un orientamento della Suprema Corte, in corso di consolidamento, che ritiene il nesso di causalita` nella responsabilita` professionale del medico oggetto di prova distinta rispetto all’inadempimento o alla colpa, addossandone l’onere al creditore. In tal modo, le due specie della responsabilita` civile, contrattuale e aquiliana, non divergerebbero sul versante del requisito della causalita` ed e` questo un esito sistematico di cui si puo` fondatamente dubitare. Oral lichenoid disease as a premalignant condition : the controversies and the unknown

We grouped as oral lichenoid disease (OLD) a series of chronic inflammatory processes with autoimmune base that affect the epithelium of the oral mucosa. This disease presents in 2% of the population with a marked predilection for the female gender, especially perimenopausal women. Clinically, it is characterized by the presence of lineal reticular papules and histologically by liquefaction degeneration of the basal layer of the epithelium associated with an inflammatory infiltrate with a "band-like" disposition on the lamina propria, composed primarily of T lymphocyte cells.
